Guided tours
The Education Department of Frankfurt Zoo offers unforgettable guided tours for school classes of all ages, for trainee teachers, students, educators, teachers and generally interested zoo visitors.
We are also happy to help you organise company outings, family celebrations or children's birthday parties (from 6 years) at the zoo. Visitors with physical or mental disabilities also have the opportunity to get to know animals up close.
General conditions
For private and company tours, children's birthday parties and school tours.
Group size incl. accompanying persons:
- for pre-school groups maximum 10 persons
- for school tours a maximum of 15 people, in the Exotarium and Grzimekhaus 10 people
- for private groups / adults maximum 15 persons
- for children's birthday parties maximum 8 children plus 2 accompanying persons
Please note:
Unfortunately, feeding and petting animals, as well as behind-the-scenes looks are not possible. Please bear in mind that due to zoological reasons (e.g. veterinary treatments) the selection of animals may change at short notice!
PLEASE NOTE FOR ORGANISATIONAL REASONS: Appointments for guided tours can only be made by telephone! Bookings must be made at least three weeks before the scheduled date!
Please note: Guided tour bookings for Sundays and public holidays are not possible.
