Sumatran orangutans test their new hammock

This week, the animal keepers from the Borgori Forest built a new hammock for the Sumatran orangutans from used fire hoses.

The young orangutans YORI, BUKIT and SAYANG have extensively tested the new toy. Whether jumping around, pulling on it or simply relaxing, the hammock withstood the endurance test and is a great new way for the orangutans to occupy themselves in the indoor enclosure.
