FOOD AND DRINK AT THE ZOO
ZOO TERRACE
The snack bar on the zoo terrace offers a small selection of different dishes with a view of the large pond. On offer are savoury dishes such as grilled sausages and „Currywurst“, fries, chicken nuggets, vegetarian spring rolls and potato pancakes as well as a wide selection of drinks. For the sake of our environment, the food is served on reusable dishes. A surplus of 2 Euros is charged for each dish as a deposit. When you return the reusable dishware, you get your deposit back. To be even more environmentally friendly, you can also bring your own dishes.
waffle stall
The Bizzi waffle stall is located near the seal cliffs and offers delicious organic Belgian waffles, coffee, cakes and an assortment of cookies, organic lemonades and homemade organic ice cream.
The waffle stall is open on weekends.
Wok’n Taste Asia
In the square in front of the snowy owls near the Rhönstraße zoo exit, you can enjoy authentic Asian cuisine throughout April 2026. Wok’n Taste Asia offers a variety of dishes, including udon noodles, curry, and various sauces, all prepared directly in the wok.
Wok’n Taste Asia is open daily in April 2026.
