Frankfurt Zoo welcomes its visitors – unfortunately, this does not work without some restrictions, the latter beeing in compliance with the currently applicable security requirements.

In the zoo, the same rules of distance and hygiene are hold as in public areas.
There is an obligation of wearing filtering face pieces in ALL indoor Areas for people older than six years. It is your responsibility to bring your own breathing protection. We recommend wearing it in the zoo.
Show feedings, tours and events do not take place.
The zoo shop, snack and ice cream stand are open.
The Great-Ape-House is temporarily closed.
The zoo is open every day.

You need to choose time slots. The following slots are available: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The booked slots are binding and cannot be changed after purchase.
The entrance fee is regulated to 12 € for adults and 6 € for children between 6 and 17 years old as well as for discounted tickets. Children under 6 years are free.
IMPORTANT: a time slot has to be booked for children under 6 years with 0 €.
IMPORTANT: Annual ticket holders and holders of a Kultur- und Freizeitticket as well as persons otherwise enabled for free entrance also need to book a time slot for 0 €.
IMPORTANT: Owners of a Frankfurt-Pass also need to book a time slot for 0 €.
There will be a ticket sale at the zoo cash desk in a small amount.
The entrance at Rhönstraße is open until 31. October.
Please observe the currently valid regulations for contact to other people.
No rental of wheel chairs and handcarts.
You reach the Frankfurt Zoo by underground line U6/U7 and tram line 14.
